Nice Duvet Set...but Overpriced
This duvet set isn't bad...a little overpriced though. The material is cotton and see-through. It wasn't so much an issue because the duvet itself is white, but for $70, I was expecting a little thicker or better-quality cotton. I should have paid attention to the thread-count (150 TC). For the quality of the cotton, I probably could've picked up something at Ross for less than $20 (and that's Hawaii prices) or I could've just sewed this myself. All in all, I'll keep it. I ordered the full size and it fit the duvet nicely; it does come with buttons that "hide" in the fabric (the button-hole is layered into the fabric, so the clear buttons "fold" into the fabric and they're hidden). It is reversible (black or white side), except the shams are designed to show the black side because the seam (where you insert the pillow) is on the white side. You do have to wash this when you first take it out of the packaging just to get that "starchy" feel out of it. My husband...
