Soft ComforterI am 36 and have spent a lot of money every few years buying bedding and let me tell you, this is the most comfortable soft bedding I have had in a long time. It feels very comfortable. It isn't too heavy for summer weather yet it isn't to light for winter. My husband and I love our purchase. We don't even want to get out of bed in the mornings, its so comfy.The only beef I had with it was the decor pillows with buttons. A couple fell off already.Which is sad because I think the button pillow is very hip. But luckily I am handy when it comes to sewing. Great deal for the price.We have gotten a lot of compliments. I think the photo is as accurate as it is going to get on a pc being that I have worked in I.T. for ten years. Depending on lighting on your pc the colors may be slightly off. So always be concious of this when shoppinng online and if available get samples before buying. For me I thought the ivory (on this comforter)was more white and the green a little more apple green then...
Good ProductI am a 25 year old male. I picked up this comforter set because I wanted something masculine, and modern. No doubt the broad stripes and neutral colors are exatly what I was looking for. The picture, however, is not an accurate representation of the product.
The material is shiny. I'm not sure if the shiny 100% polyester is femanine or not, but I dated a girl once who had a shiny comforter. The material is a little rough. I'm not going to say that it is irrotating to the skin, because it is not. It just isn't silk, and it isn't cotton. I definately didn't want the former. The colors are not what is depicted in photo, but truth be known, I like the darker colors MUCH more than I thought I was going to like them.
The comforter is lighter weight than I was expecting, but I guess everything is that way now-a-days. That said, it is still plenty warm, as it is too warm to sleep under (summer time in south Louisiana). The stitching is decent. Few strings hang...
Cheap.I paid [...] bucks for this and I feel like it's worth about $45. I'm not impressed with the quality, color or material at all. First of all, when I held up the comforter to light you can see straight thru the entire thing - not because it's thin but becuase the padding in the middle is so low quality. It says it's machine washable but I'd bet after two times in the washing machine you'd have to purchase a whole new one. I don't think the colors are as I expected either - it's Avacado green and goldish-brownish color. In the pic on the actual packaging and on the add it's a green apple color and a chocolate brown. I'm sending it back and going to Target for a real deal.
