Soft and ComfyI love the look and feel of this comforter, it's quite sophisticated and extremely warm. The decorative pillows are interesting and are great for piling up when you want to read in bed. I deducted a star because the tag is located on the top of the comforter which can be a bit bothersome otherwise it's absolutely wonderful and I would recommend it if you are looking for something simple yet stylish.
Beautiful but bled terriblyI like this comforter, it's very pretty, but I had to wash it because it smelled like plastic/chemicals even though it said only spot clean. It was fine in the wash, but the black bled terribly in the dryer and left an ugly stain in the corner of it. If you can't wash it, what are you supposed to do with it? I think it's a bit unrealistic to create a comforter that you cannot wash. If I had known it wasn't washable, I wouldn't have purchased it.
Hidden Defects and Poor Customer ServiceIt looked nice enough in the photo and that's why I ordered it. After trying it for one night, I realized the fabric doesn't let your skin "breathe" and we were sweating profusely. Also, when the bed is made, the comforter always looked wrinkled and rumpled.
When I tried to return the product, the company gave me a lot of trouble - sending me several emails asking for a very detailed explanation on why I wanted to return the item. They finally sent me a return label (but deducted $18 for shipping both ways - even though shipping was "free" and the product was not as described).
A few hours later (after I packed and shipped the item back), the company sent me an email saying that I couldn't return the item after all - since it was used! I had to file a claim with Amazon to get my money refunded. This is a poor product sold by a company that needs some lessons in customer service and business ethics.
